We specialise in Windows PCs and laptops — we don't repair Apple Macs or mobile phones.

All work is quoted upfront. We come to you for smaller on-site jobs, or can collect your device, fix it at our workshop, and return it to you.

  • Computer won't start? Running painfully slowly? Showing error messages you don't understand? We'll diagnose the issue, explain what we found, and fix it — or tell you honestly if it's not worth repairing.

    No fix, no fee applies to most diagnostic work. Get in touch to discuss your issue before booking.

    Battery — restores full battery life, typically around 1 hour labour

    Screen (LCD or OLED) — cracked or damaged screens replaced, typically around 1 hour labour

    Storage (HDD, SSD, or NVMe) — faster or larger storage installed, typically 30 minutes labour plus data transfer time

    RAM — straightforward upgrade or replacement, typically 30 minutes labour

    Keyboard — full keyboard replacement, typically 30 minutes to 1 hour labour

    Trackpad — replacement for unresponsive or damaged trackpads, typically 30 minutes to 1 hour labour

  • Whether it's a failed component or an upgrade that's turned into a fault diagnosis, we handle desktop part replacements across the full range of internal components.

    CPU — typically around 1 hour labour

    GPU (graphics card) — typically around 30 minutes labour

    RAM — typically around 30 minutes labour

    Motherboard — typically around 1 hour 30 minutes labour

    Power supply — typically around 1 hour labour

    Fans and cooling — typically around 30 minutes labour

  • The most cost-effective way to get more out of your existing machine. We supply and install quality components sourced from reputable NZ suppliers.

    Laptop upgrades:

    RAM upgrade — more memory for smoother multitasking

    Storage upgrade (HDD, SSD, or NVMe) — faster load times and more space, with data migrated across

    Desktop upgrades:

    Full range of desktop components — CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, cooling and more. If you're not sure what upgrade will make the most difference for your budget, ask us and we'll give you an honest recommendation.

  • Overheating laptops and desktops are one of the most common — and most overlooked — performance problems. Dust build-up and dried-out thermal paste force your machine to work harder and run hotter, which shortens its lifespan and slows it down.

    A full clean and service includes:

    Dust clean-out of all internal components and vents

    Thermal paste replacement on CPU (and GPU where applicable)

    Typically 1 to 2 hours labour. Recommended every 1 to 2 years for most machines, more frequently in dusty environments.

  • Just bought a new laptop or desktop? We'll set it up properly from the start — accounts, software, data transfer from your old machine, backups configured, and everything the way you actually want it.

    Especially useful for students starting at Waikato University who want their machine sorted before semester kicks off.

    Typically around 1 hour labour.

  • Moving from an old device to a new one and want to bring everything across? We transfer your files, documents, photos, and where possible your settings and applications to your new machine.

    Transfer time varies depending on the volume of data and the condition of the old device. We'll give you an estimate once we've assessed both machines.

  • Fresh Windows or Linux installation for machines that are running slowly, have software corruption, or need a clean start. We install the OS correctly, apply updates, and make sure drivers are configured before handing back.

    Typically around 1 hour labour.

  • Dropping out constantly, slow in certain rooms, devices that won't connect — we'll sort it. We set up home Wi-Fi networks, troubleshoot connection issues, and configure routers and mesh systems.

    Typically 1 to 2 hours labour.

  • We repair Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles and handhelds — not just computers. Common repairs include:

    Screen replacement — typically around 1 hour 30 minutes labour

    Battery replacement — typically around 1 hour labour

    Thumbstick replacement — typically around 30 minutes labour

    Button replacement — typically around 30 minutes labour

How We Work

We come to you across Hamilton East and surrounding suburbs for smaller on-site jobs. For larger repairs, we can collect your device, fix it at our workshop, and return it to you — no need to travel.

All devices are taken in with a formal job intake process. We document the condition of your device on arrival, agree the quote with you before starting any work, and don't return your device until you've approved the completed job.
